Made-to-order buildings
Canute buildings are configured and manufactured to your specification. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, the normal 14-day cancellation right for online purchases does not apply to bespoke or made-to-measure goods once manufacture has begun. Before production starts we will confirm your configuration in writing; please check it carefully.
Deposits and cancellation
If you cancel before we begin manufacture, we will refund your payment less any costs already reasonably incurred (for example design, materials ordered or works carried out). Once manufacture has begun, deposits are non-refundable to the extent of the work done and materials committed. We will always tell you the position before proceeding.
Faulty or misdescribed goods
Your statutory rights are unaffected. If a product is faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund as appropriate under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Please contact us promptly so we can inspect and put things right.
