Last updated June 2026. These terms are provided in good faith and should be confirmed by Canute’s solicitor before relying on them commercially.
1. Who we are
This website and member portal are operated by Canute Homes Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15980097), registered office Neathwood Farm House, Wickwar Road, Kingswood, Wotton-Under-Edge, GL12 8JU. Contact: dee@canutehomes.com.
2. Using this site and portal
By using the site or registering for the portal you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. Some areas (reseller, franchise, staff and apprentice dashboards) require an approved account and the completion of identity verification and a non-disclosure agreement. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for the accuracy of the information you provide.
3. Quotations, orders and payment
Our buildings are configured and made to order. Information on the site is an invitation to enquire, not a binding offer. We issue a written quotation; an order is formed only when we confirm it in writing. Unless agreed otherwise, we take a deposit on order and require full payment before dispatch. Prices are quoted exclusive of VAT, delivery and installation unless stated, and quotations are valid for the period stated on them.
4. Made-to-order goods
Because products are manufactured to your specification, they are bespoke goods. Please see our Refund & Returns Policy for your cancellation and refund rights, which differ for bespoke items.
5. Warranty
Our products are covered by the warranty described in our warranty terms. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
6. Intellectual property and confidentiality
All designs, drawings, technology, know-how, text, images and branding on this site and in the portal are the property of Canute Homes Ltd and may not be copied or used without our written permission. Confidential information disclosed through the portal is governed by the non-disclosure agreement you sign.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the site or portal, attempt to gain unauthorised access, upload harmful content, or use any confidential information except as permitted. We may suspend or remove accounts that breach these terms.
8. Liability
We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, our liability arising from use of the site or portal is limited to the extent permitted by law.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
